On pipework, the question may be whether a restriction can be worked back to an open flange. On a coated surface, the next trade may need a trialled edge and a clearly exposed base. Describe that decision and show the work area; the provider will select the pressure, flow and tooling.
What are you trying to clean or expose?
For a tube bundle, tell us whether the covers are already off and who needs the tube record afterwards. For a process line, show the section that has lost flow and the point where debris could be caught. Surface work should be linked to the inspection, repair or coating that follows.
If the material is uncertain, say what the plant normally carries or send a safely obtained sample.

High-pressure water jetting services
Pipework, tube bundles and vessels create different jobs. A process line is cleaned towards a known recovery point; a tube bundle needs coverage recorded tube by tube; a vessel needs its previous contents and washings route understood before internal surfaces are treated.

Choosing the pressure, flow and tooling
Pressure is one variable among several. Flow carries loosened material, while nozzle shape, stand-off distance and travel speed alter the effect at the surface. The provider selects those settings from the deposit and substrate rather than a standard pressure card.
Hard scale, baked-on product, corrosion and old coatings each behave differently, and the same equipment can carry more than one of them. If the deposit response is uncertain or the substrate looks vulnerable, the provider starts on a small representative area and checks the effect before treating the whole surface. Thin walls, worn components, seals and linings all need to be considered before the method is fixed.
Site controls during water jetting
A jetting operation creates a moving work zone around pressurised hoses, spray, noise and released debris. The provider’s method must show the exclusion area, confirmed isolations and hose route around work that remains live.
Where the geometry suits it, remote water jetting can place distance between the operator and active head. Wash water and solids need an agreed collection route rather than an assumption that the nearest drain is suitable. The completion check should record the condition achieved against the agreed work. That can include what was cleaned, the access used, photographs where useful and a clear note of any section that could not be reached. Damage or an unexpected deposit found beneath the material is recorded separately so the site can decide whether it needs repair, sampling or closer inspection.
On shutdown work, hand-back points need to line up with the trades that follow. Extra areas discovered after plant is opened should move through an agreed change, with their effect on time and the agreed work visible to the site.
Send the location, what needs cleaning and a few photographs through the enquiry form. The first review checks the material and identifies important condition, access or containment gaps. If the timing is tied to an outage, include the current programme window.
Could water jetting affect my equipment. The provider selects pressure, flow and nozzle for the substrate and its condition, considers seals and thin sections, and uses a representative trial where the response is uncertain.

The work area should be made safe while the condition is recorded and reported separately. Cleaning and repair are different decisions for the site to consider.
