Heat Exchanger Tube Cleaning

An opened exchanger often shows that fouling is concentrated in one pass or group of tubes. The cleaning plan should follow that pattern and record which bores were reached.

Show us the cleaning problem in its setting

Tell us what has changed: a line may have lost flow, a tube bundle may be due for inspection or a surface may be holding up a repair. Add one close photograph and one wider view so the provider can see both the build-up and the route to the work.

Our services

Choose from line and tube cleaning, tank and vessel jetting, surface preparation, concrete removal and planned shutdown support.

How it works

The first pass should answer a practical question

A trial can show whether the deposit lifts, whether the surface beneath is sound and whether the released material reaches the prepared collection point. The provider uses that result to set the wider clean.

Survey, clean and check the equipment

  • Find the affected sectionUse the operating symptom, drawing or inspection to mark where the work begins and ends.
  • Prove a workable positionThe provider checks that the head can reach the surface and return without losing useful control.
  • Watch the first returnA short pass shows how the build-up releases and whether the collection point can handle it.
  • Present the item for inspectionThe agreed person reviews the cleaned area and any section that remains restricted or out of reach.

A line that has lost flow, an opened tube bundle and a surface awaiting repair each need a different first conversation. Tell us what changed and show the work area.

Choosing Jetting Pressure and Flow

The right starting pressure and flow are confirmed on the actual deposit and surface. A trial patch shows whether the material lifts, where it travels and what is left beneath.

Read guidance

Planning a Water Jetting Shutdown

A jetting crew cannot use the whole production stop. Cooling, isolation and opening take time before cleaning, while inspection and closure need protected time afterwards.

Remote Jetting or Manual Jetting

Remote and manual jetting can both be useful on one item. The choice changes where the route, visibility or shape of the work face changes.

Read guidance

Containment and Wastewater Planning

Jetting water carries whatever the nozzle removes. Capture, screening and temporary storage are sized for the added water and the material expected from the work face.

Questions before you enquire

High-pressure water jetting FAQs

Straight answers to common questions about quotations, equipment and wastewater.

What pressure will be used?+

The provider selects pressure, flow and nozzle after reviewing the deposit, substrate and access. A trial may be used where the surface response is uncertain.

Can a quotation be based on photographs?+

Close and wide photographs can support the first review. Drawings, dimensions or a site visit may be needed when the route or condition is hidden.

When does remote jetting make sense?+

Remote tooling must reach the complete work face, remain visible and return through the same route. The provider may test that movement before cleaning.

What happens to the jetting water?+

The quotation identifies how wash water is captured and held. Existing drains are used only when their destination and suitability are known.
