A remote frame increases distance from the active head only when it can reach, turn, remain visible and return. A dry movement test exposes those limits before water is introduced.
Test reach, visibility and return movement
The trial checks the opening, support position, internal obstructions and camera view without assuming that entry by the nozzle proves full reach. The carrier must turn and withdraw through the same route. Surfaces hidden behind internals remain outside the remote method unless another position is available. This is the practical test for when remote jetting should be considered on a particular item.
One item may need two operating positions
Remote tooling can cover the regular, visible area and controlled manual tooling can handle an irregular detail. The method should identify that transition rather than label the whole item remote by default.
